Phil Thompson - Executive Chef

Under Phil Thompson's expert guidance over the last five years, Auberge du Lac has gone from strength to strength, making this one of the best out-of-London restaurants to dine and be seen at. Phil, together with Restaurant Manager, Luca Ravagnati, ensure the ‘dining experience' is superb and one that each guest will truly remember. His success with Auberge du Lac is such that he now overseas Brocket Hall's menus for their prestigious clientele. At Auberge du Lac, all the best traditions of French cooking are combined with Phil's own essentially English background.

Situated beside the Broadwater Lake and nestling among the rolling 543 acres of the Brocket Hall Estate, Auberge du Lac remains a favourite haunt of families, couples, businessmen and celebrities and one of the finest and most evocative of restaurants at which to celebrate any occasion.

Brocket Hall is situated in 543 acres of Hertfordshire countryside just 22 miles north of London.

The restaurant sits proudly at the water's edge in its own peaceful environment overlooking the splendour of Brocket Hall Estate.

The facilities, as well as Auberge du Lac Restaurant, are of course the infamous Brocket Hall, available on an exclusive use basis for all corporate and private events and two of the finest Championship golf courses in the South of England together with the first Faldo Golf Institute in Europe on the Estate.
